Line and Shape
The location I used for this picture was the school in the back entrance near the football field and the subject matter is the feather. The photo I took was of an E on the ground outside, which contained a feather in the middle. I took this photo at a relatively close distance. My point of view was above. My photograph is horizontal. I considered the rule of thirds because the feather is located relatively near the top left corner. This photo displays a dynamic composition that successfully leads the viewer's eye by the feather being the main view.
Pattern and Texture
My best photo is the second picture of the woodpile. The distance in this shot is not to close but not to far. The point of view is straight on. This photo is horizontal. This photo doesn't follow the rule of thirds. This photo is an example of pattern and rhythm because each individual piece of wood is creating the same pattern.
